It only changes the pathfinding and AI systems so it can be safely disabled without screwing your save. Bus lanes and pedestrian roads would be just for show.
#Cities skylines tmpe advanced vehicle ai mod
You can use Traffic++ with this mod but only one of them can replace the pathfinder and AI systems, which means that either cars won't follow your restrictions or they won't avoid congestions. This mod will stay alive and will contain only the AI tweaks from Traffic++ that do not require external tools The Asset Editor is launched in the Tools sub-menu of the Main Menu. It will be added to Traffic++ when I get back to modding, hopefully by the end of September The Asset Editor is a powerful tool for decorating existing assets, creating new assets from props, or creating new road pieces such as intersections that can then be imported into the game. It might expand to contain more AI behaviours in the future. This mod makes vehicles avoid congestions by changing lanes, if possible, and avoid areas of congestion when searching for a new path. Check vehicle capacities: You can use the Advanced Vehicle Options (AVO) mod to check capacities If you use workshop vehicles, check that they dont have stupidly large capacities If the capacity is much greater than vanilla vehicles, it will confuse the AI, for example: Your hearse has capacity of 10, and the city has 100 dead people. As always, I'm not responsible for anything that can happen from using this or any of my mods. This version will contain all bugfixes and stabilized features from LABS. This mod does nothing if you have no AN-compatible road. C:UserskrzychusourcereposGitHubCities-Skylines-Traffic-Manager. (formerly know as Adaptive roads) Is a requirement for AN Roads and helps such roads to react to TMPE rules. Edit 2: It has been pointed out to me that TMPE apparently changes the way vehicle AI works even if you don't enable their advanced vehicle AI option, so it isn't fair to say that this is vanilla AI doing this as I did have TMPE installed when I took this screenshot. The best I've found til now is to use TM:PE Improved Vehicle AI, Now. I decided to try out the Advanced Vehicle AI feature of TM:PE and, at first, it seemed to help with traffic quite a bit, increasing my average flow by 15.

A good traffic management has to expect some logical users behaviors. I recently decided to try out some mods and downloaded TM:PE along with Precision Engineering and everything was running smoothly for a few weeks until I discovered the Mod Settings section. Managing manually each crossing or road to avoid vehicles using only one lane is really boring.

If you want to use Traffic++, use ONLY Traffic++ and enable the improved AI in the options. Compatible with Cities Skylines 1.9.0-f5 (Green Cities). I've been searching and testing a lot of techniques to improve that inefficient vehicles lanes routing logic.
